Global Read Aloud
Students in second grade will join people all over the world in reading books by the same author in the Global Read Aloud program. The author study this year is Amy Krouse Rosenthal who has written books such as Chopsticks, It’s Not Fair, The OK Book, and many other fabulous titles. Researching
Meanwhile, in third grade, students will be busy learning research skills, such as finding books on the library catalog, using an online encyclopedia, and searching on a kid safe search engine. They will be able to apply these skills in an upcoming classroom research project.
