Library Clubs
We will be starting our Library Clubs very soon. To see all of the latest news on clubs, be sure to look on the Library website under Library Programs.
Tech Club
We’ll use Computers and iPads to learn new technology.
Reading Rocks Club
Students may either read independently or join a group read aloud.
Express It Club
We’ll create things just for fun such as Drawing, Coloring, Zentangle, and more.
Story Club (3rd grade)
Students will learn strategies for writing stories, develop them, and then learn different ways to share their stories (using the ipad and computer).
Newspaper Club (3rd grade)
Our student reporters learn about the different types of newspaper stories, and write about the latest Wheelock news.
Book Club
A reading enrichment club where students have different tasks and dive into an in-depth discussion on an appropriately challenging book.
Volunteering
Also, parent volunteers are a huge help to the library program and any level of assistance is greatly appreciated. Sign up for volunteering will be available through Signup Genius. Information about tasks and links to individual class signups is posted on the library website, or click here on Volunteers if interested.
